Meet Julie

Hi! I'm Julie.

I'm passionate about supporting women through one of the biggest transitions of their lives.

As a social worker and mother of two young daughters, I've seen firsthand how important community is during pregnancy and the postpartum period. I also know how isolating those early months of motherhood can feel without people walking beside you.

Gathered in Motherhood was created to give first-time mothers something truly invaluable—a small community of women entering motherhood together.

I was fortunate to be part of a similar group during my first pregnancy, and I know firsthand the difference that kind of support can make. The friendships, encouragement, and reassurance I found during that season helped me navigate the challenges of new motherhood and reminded me that I was never alone.

It is my hope that Gathered in Motherhood becomes that same place for you—a space where you feel seen, supported, and connected as you prepare to welcome your baby.

I am honoured to walk alongside you as you begin this incredible journey and help you build your village.
